Bass-baritone Tyler Fitzgerald has performed with many of the major opera companies and symphonies across Canada, and in 2016 made his European debut as Count Ceprano in Rigoletto with the Staatstheater in Mainz. Recent performances include: concerts with the Calgary Bach Society, Alberto in Figaro’s Wedding (Cowtown Opera), Masetto (Don Giovanni) with Edmonton Opera, and Stevens in Rattenbury with Pacific Opera Victoria. Other roles include: Figaro and Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus, Marquisd’obigny (La Traviata), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas), Inigo (L’heure espagnole), and Tarquinius (The Rape of Lucretia).
