Third Prize winner at the Concorsa Internazionale per cantanti Lirici Spazio Musica in Orvieto, Italy (July, 2013), Finalist at the Altamura Caruso International Voice Competition in New York (October, 2011), First Prize at the national final of the Canadian Music Competition (June, 2011), Third prize at the Montreal Symphony Orchestra Standard Life Competition (November, 2008), Stéphanie Lessard has been impressing critics and juries since her début. Stéphanie is also proud to be supported by the Jeunesses Musicales du Canada.

A graduate of the Conservatoire de Musique du Québec, Stéphanie has participated in Masterclasses given by internationally renowned singers Frederica von Stade, Agnès Mellon and Mignon Dunn and has worked with renowned coaches including Joan Dornemann, Robert Cowart and Denise Massé.

Mastering a varied repertoire of opera and concert music, Stéphanie’s operatic highlites include Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica), and Fiordiligi (Cosi fan Tutte).

Her concert performances include Bach’s Magnificat and St. John’s Passion, Mozart’s Requiem and Great Mass in C Minor, Haydn’s Schöpfung, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis and Ninth Symphony and Dvorak’s Te Deum and Stabat Mater. She has performed with I Musici, Amati Ensemble, Saguenay Symphony Orchestra, SALR, Chant Libres and Trois–Rivières Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestro Jacques Lacombe.

Upcoming is the role of Micaëla (Carmen) with Société d’art Lyrique du Royaume, Micaëla (Carmen) with Nickel City Opera, Buffalo, NY and ‘Yo soy la desintegracion (Frida Kahlo’s Life) with Chants Libres in Montreal.
