Carmen with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. Other roles include Concepcion in L’Heure Espagnole by Maurice Ravel, Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Rosina in Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Hermia in Britten’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. In addition to her operatic experience, she has also performed with various ensembles in Québec and Ontario. Selected concert works include Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s Messe à huit voix et huit instruments with the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute Chamber Choir, Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem, The Seven last words of Christ by Dubois and Charpentier’s Messe de minuit with le Choeur Polyphonique de Charlevoix, Vivaldi’s Gloria with the King’s University College Chamber Choir and Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra. Marjorie will also be part of internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne’s Music Academy of The West Summer Music Festival.
