Soprano

Soprano Sarah Vautour is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music where she performed the title role of Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda with CCM Opera d’arte. Returning in 2017 as a New Horizons Fellow, Ms. Vautour previously appeared in the 2015 Aspen Music Festival season as Mozart and Donna Anna in Stephen Stucky’s *The Classical Style* under the baton of Robert Spano. Additionally, she performed the roles of Morgana (Alcina) and Le Chatte (L’enfant et les Sortilèges) with CCM Opera d’arte, and with Harrower Opera Workshop, Rose Maurrant (Street Scene). Furthermore, she covered the role of Tytania (A Midsummer Night;s Dream) with Opera on the Avalon. 

Most recently, Ms. Vautour sang with the Cincinnati Opera Chorus during their 2016 season. This summer, Ms. Vautour will be covering Angel 1/ Waitress in Luke Bedford’s Seven Angels. She currently lives in Houston, TX pursuing her graduate studies at Rice University under the instruction of Dr. Stephen King.
