Soprano and Artist Educator Kyra Millan started in Arts education 15 years ago facilitating singing workshops for the Canadian Opera Company, and has been working for them ever since as well as for Workman Arts (CAMH), Opera Atelier, Abilities Arts, Soundstreams Canada and most recently, TIFF.

Kyra voice coaches professional productions in Canada for companies such as Canadian Stage, Stage West, Young People’s Theatre, National Arts Centre as well as for International touring productions, most recently; Warner Bros.’ international touring productions of “Scooby Doo Live Onstage”, and Mills Entertainment’s “Spank the Fifty Shades Parody”. She also coaches aspiring singers and professionals in her private studio in Toronto.

As a solo artist, Kyra recently gave another Interactive Concert at the Four Seasons Centre as part of their lunch time series, and in the winter she starred in “Christmas with Hi and Lo” - a show she created in collaboration with Canadian Jazz Icon John Alcorn.

Last spring, she recorded the voice of Mother Nature in ‘Theatre of Marionettes’ for the National Arts Centre. This July, she will reprise her Interactive Opera Concert at Harbourfront Centre as part of their strings and voice festival.
